The Opportunity

As the demand for energy storage solutions in Japan accelerates, we are looking for a Senior Application Engineer to join their technical team. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between clients and internal engineering teams, ensuring seamless delivery of customised inverter solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams.
• Engage with clients to understand technical specifications and project requirements.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to identify and adapt inverter solutions.
• Configure complete energy storage systems, integrating third-party battery solutions (e.g., BYD).
• Prepare and submit technical documentation for utilities and regulatory bodies.
• Support customer relationships, attend technical discussions, and assist in solution presentations.

What We’re Looking For:

Industry Experience: Background in solar, energy storage, or high-voltage equipment.

Technical Expertise: Electrical engineering knowledge with a strong understanding of inverters and energy storage systems.

Languages: Fluent Japanese and proficient English.

Local Knowledge: Understanding of Japan’s energy storage landscape and regulations is a plus.
