Wicklow – Contract Position (to Dec 2027) A leading energy organisation is preparing for a major multi-year overhaul of a key hydro power facility in Ireland. This programme includes full machine inspections, generator and transformer refurbishment, C&amp;I upgrades and an extensive balance of plant scope. They are now seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join the project team on site and take responsibility for the delivery of all electrical elements of the overhaul. This role requires a strong background in power-generation maintenance, contractor management and heavy electrical plant. Role Overview:The Lead Electrical Engineer will support the Project Manager in planning and delivering a complex, high-risk maintenance programme involving generator rotor pulls, transformer upgrades, switchgear inspections, electrical testing and significant balance of plant work.
