Interface Manager

Job Description Summary

The role focuses on managing interfaces between multiple stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various disciplines and organisations. The aim is to support the successful delivery of complex projects by maintaining consistency, accuracy, and interoperability throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage interfaces between the project and third parties, ensuring optimal development and programme setup for successful procurement and delivery.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues and conflicting requirements in a timely manner.
• Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns, fostering effective relationships throughout the project.
• Contribute to the development of the Interface Management Plan and the project schedule, monitoring progress and coordinating implementation.
• Provide input to minimise third-party impact while maintaining effective project delivery.
• Maintain relationships with third parties to avoid disputes and claims.
• Produce and maintain reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key issues, resolutions, and performance.
• Ensure a collaborative approach within the team to address and resolve issues related to interfaces.
• Promote identification of hazards and risks, ensuring safety and product integrity.
• Lead interface meetings, document decisions, follow up on actions, and escalate issues as necessary.
