Hunter Philips is currently seeking a HSE Advisor with monopile foundation fabrication experience to work with a new supplier for our client who is a global leader in renewable energy.
Initial contract length of 9 months plus potential extensions, working pattern is Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day. On shore UK factory-based role – inside of IR35.
Responsibilities:
· Reduce TRIR and NCR among Fabrication suppliers
· Ensure Fabrication suppliers comply with client’s HSE requirements
· Plan and conduct supplier assessments based on risk
· Provide HSE support to Package and Fabrication Teams
· Implement and track Supplier HSE improvements and Assurance/Activity Plan
· Contribute to HSE supplier performance reporting
· Communicate and coordinate HSE initiatives across teams
Requirements:
· 10 years of experience within QHSE Management to include 5 years of relevant experience within mature industrial manufacturing, ideally within monopile foundation fabrication.
· Practical experience in welding and workshop is highly desirable.
· Completed IOSH course or NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction to certificate level or similar – preferably to diploma level or similar.
· Experience within Incident investigations and Root Cause Identification.
· Knowledge of local Health and Safety Regulations required.
· Valid training required in: Work at Height (e.g. GWO) and First Aid.
· Valid medical certificate (to fulfil Fabrication Supplier requirements).
