Client HSSE / BHP Representative - Solar PV - Renewable Energy - Construction - Krotozyce - Poland - Contract
Job Overview:
We are supporting a leading international energy developer in the appointment of a Client-side HSSE / BHP Representative to oversee the construction of a large-scale Solar PV project in western Poland.
The project comprises a large solar park located approximately one hour west of Wrocław, with mobilisation scheduled for April 2026 following EPC contractor appointment.
This role will act as the client’s on-site safety representative, ensuring HSSE compliance, monitoring EPC performance, and driving best-in-class construction safety standards throughout delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Client HSSE representative across the full construction lifecycle
- Review EPC HSSE plans, RAMS, and risk assessments prior to mobilisation
- Ensure alignment with permits, contractual requirements, and Polish legal regulations
- Monitor EPC compliance with HSSE procedures and site standards
- Record inspections, audits, and findings within client reporting systems
- Review weekly and monthly HSSE performance reporting
- Provide performance feedback and improvement recommendations
- Liaise with EPC teams, client construction representatives, and external stakeholders
- Support enforcement of permit conditions and safety processes on site
Project & Working Arrangement:
- Onboarding from March 2026
- Initial onboarding phase up to 5 days per week (primarily remote)
- Construction phase from April 2026 to April 2027
- Minimum 2 days per week on site
- Additional travel to client offices in Poland may be required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in construction HSSE roles
- Solar PV project experience or other relevent experience preferred
- Experience working client-side or overseeing EPC contractors
- Strong knowledge of Polish HSSE legislation
- Understanding of HV electrical construction safety
- Working knowledge of Kierownik Budowy and Multi-Employer Koordynator BHP roles
- Fluent Polish and English language capability
Contract Details:
- Start Date - March 2026
- Contract Duration - Initial 12 months
- Extension Potential - High (aligned to project delivery)
- Working Pattern - Hybrid (site + remote)
- Rate - All-inclusive daily structure
