Civils Site Supervisor – Solar Farm - North of Dublin, Ireland – EPC - 12 Month Contract
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Civils Site Supervisor to oversee and manage civil works on a large-scale solar farm project in North Dublin, Ireland. The role involves supervising the construction of roads, drainage systems and foundations while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities, including roads, drainage and foundation works
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications and safety standards
- Manage site preparation activities to ensure efficient and effective project execution
- Oversee the installation of drainage systems to prevent water accumulation and erosion
- Ensure the stability and durability of foundations, understanding all design and construction specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines
- Address any site issues or technical challenges as they arise, implementing effective solutions
Qualifications & Experience:
Mandatory:
- Safe Pass certification
- Manual Handling certification
Preferred:
- First Aid Responder certification
- Temporary Works Coordinator certification
- Extensive experience in civil supervision, with a strong focus on roads, drainage and foundations
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders
