The Role:
My client are looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead BESS sales efforts in the Italian market. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and driving full-cycle sales with developers, EPCs, and utilities.
- Lead the sales process for utility-scale energy storage systems, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with major stakeholders, including executives, procurement professionals, and technical leads.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop a robust sales pipeline aligned with strategic objectives.
- Keep a pulse on policy changes, competitor activity, and market dynamics to inform business development tactics.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and technical teams to ensure product offerings meet client needs and support tailored commercial proposals.
The person:
- 5+ years in energy storage, renewables, or power infrastructure sales
- Experience selling technical solutions to EPCs, developers, or utilities
- Knowledge of Italy’s energy sector and procurement processes
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Strong commercial acumen and willingness to travel
