The Business

A leader in renewable energy project development and execution with multi-GW portfolio across solar, wind and energy storage. Due to the recent announcement of major project contracts, the business is growing rapidly across multiple European markets and require a senior professional based in Germany to lead on international procurement activities.

As Senior Procurement Manager – key duties include:

·         Develop and execute international procurement strategies for major renewable projects (solar, wind, energy storage)

·         Lead supplier negotiations and contract management

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones

·         Guide and mentor junior team members

·         Progression to Regional Head of Procurement or similar in 1-2 years

The Professional

The successful candidate will likely have the following:

·         Minimum 8 years of experience in renewable energy – 5+ within procurement and supply chain

·         Strong negotiation and contract management skills

·         In-depth knowledge of supply chain risk management

·         A passion for working in an international environment

·         Flexibility to travel up to 25%

·         Fluency in German and English
