Construction Manager / Site Manager - Onshore Wind

Construction Manager / Site Manager - Onshore Wind - Renewable Energy – Italy – 18 month Contract Position (Minimum)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee EPC contractors, ensure adherence to project timelines and act as the primary communication link between the Owner and contractors
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project quality requirements through regular inspections and audits
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensure environmental compliance and manage incident response and investigations
• Monitor the project budget and identify cost overruns
• Identify any potential project risks
• Represent the Owner’s interests on site and manage relationships with local communities and stakeholders
• Review and approve technical designs and provide problem-solving assistance to contractors
• Oversee commissioning and testing, ensure smooth handover of the completed project to the operational team

Skills And Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years in Construction Management, with a proven tracker record of managing complex EPC projects
• Fluency in Italian for all written and verbal communications, English is not necessary
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, being able to convey technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders
• Clear understanding and knowledge of HSE
• Proficiency in quality control and compliance
• Effective progress tracking and reporting abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Logistics:

• Start date can be as early as the 1^st of November but can wait until the 1^st of December for the right candidate
• This will be an 18-month contract with the likelihood of an extension
• Must be willing to be present on site 100% of the time
