Senior Civil Design & Installation Manager - Grid Access EPC Projects - Germany

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Design & Installation Manager to oversee the construction of HV substation projects. This role involves managing project execution, coordinating with clients, and conducting site visits. Flexibility for travel is required, with potential for future projects in the wider region.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analysing customer tender documents
• Coordinating internal processes and interfaces
• Identifying optimisation potential and creating proposals
• Managing construction-related tenders and selecting subcontractors
• Negotiating with customers and subcontractors
• Overseeing construction progress, safety standards, and contract compliance
• Managing documentation, quality assurance, and project finalisation

Requirements:

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar technical field with relevant experience
• Proven experience managing construction projects and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of contract law (BGB, VOB, HOAI)
• Independent, structured, and proactive work style
• Ability to handle pressure and make decisions confidently
• Willingness to travel around Europe
