Senior Contract Manager

Contract - Offshore wind project - Able to travel to Netherlands office or UK office

Hunter Philips are currently searching for a Senior Contract Manager leader in the delivery of fixed offshore wind projects. You will be working for a leading company who has successfully completed a diverse range of projects in the renewable energy sector, including the installation of offshore wind farm foundations, subsea cables, and decommissioning services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the fulfilment of contractual and operational obligations for assigned contracts.
• Engage during the bidding phase to maintain long-term customer relationships and manage the development of subcontracting agreements.
• Draft claims, variation requests, and strategic correspondence, along with conducting contractual analyses.
• Lead the resolution of financial disputes related to contracts and independently negotiate claims, variations, and settlement agreements.
• Ensure compliance with standardised contract policies, processes, and systems.
• Oversee the administration of financial instruments, guarantees, and insurance documentation.
• Manage the primary client contract and key subcontract agreements, ensuring effective administration.
• Handle change processes by collaborating with project and operational teams to secure compensation for activities beyond the contract scope.
• Manage claims, variation orders, and their commercial implications.
• Deliver regular summaries and reports regarding the status of contractual issues and any potential challenges.
• Execute activities related to contract close-out.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role within large and complex projects
• Capable of developing and maintaining key business relationships at all levels in the organisation
• Able to carry out work with a high level of detail and accuracy
• Able to identify and effectively prioritise workload in order to meet multiple, often competing deadlines
• Experienced with excel and other similar business applications
• Well organised, capable of keeping the overview in complex situations
