They have won significant partnership agreements with a range of blue-chip customers looking to achieve net-zero targets and goals. Further expansion and global demand for their market leading renewable energy solutions has seen unprecedented global growth and the requirement to recruit a high-profile Principal Commissioning Manager.

The Role

• Provision of effective leadership of the BESS engineering capability.
• Support to the Responsible Designer and Engineering Design Manager in the delivery of the projects.
• Develop, own, and deliver design, safety case, and commissioning strategies.
• Specify and provide technical supervision of commissioning and/or decommissioning, acting as Commissioning Lead.
• Completion of the project installation and commissioning work and successful handover to the customer.
• Manage handover to systems, ensuring that all drawings, instructions, and training have been supplied as required.
• Act as Principal Designer Advisor under the Regulations.

The Person

• A degree in Engineering or relevant subject (Essential).
• Significant experience in the Renewable energy, Process or Construction industries (Essential).
• A good working knowledge of Technical, Health & Safety and Environmental Legislation (Essential).
• Knowledge/experience of contract management (Desirable).
• Willing to travel
