BESS Senior Project Developer

*This position requires relocation to Munich, Bavaria, Germany*

Our Client:

This company is a recognized leader in global renewable energy, with a multi-GW pipeline in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). A fast-growing renewable energy company operating in Europe.

The role:

As Senior Project Developer you will lead throughout the full project development lifecycle and business development activities.

Some duties would include:

• Assess the feasibility of potential projects.
• Collaborate with local communities, public authorities and municipals, to present project benefits, environmental impacts, and technologies.
• Dive into project details and ensure smooth communication between all parties involved.
• Work closely with grid networks, municipalities, and external partners to secure permits.
• Manage key stakeholder negotiations, including landowners and utility companies.

The Person:

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in renewable energy project development in the Austria Market.
• A team player who demonstrates strong strategic thinking and a hands-on approach who is able to work independently and take initiative.
• Experience in renewable energy development with a solid understanding of how project development works.
• Fluent in German and English to engage with local authorities and international teams effectively.
