Senior Commercial Leadership Role | Onshore Wind
A leading player in the wind sector is hiring a Director of Sales to take full ownership of its Eastern European sales organisation. This is a high-impact, regional leadership role with a focus on structured growth, major project delivery, and team development.
The Eastern European market is shifting rapidly, and this business has been at the forefront of that change — growing from a minor player to one of the dominant names across key markets including Poland, the Baltics, Romania and Ukraine.
To support further expansion, the company is carving out a dedicated regional sales leadership role. You’ll take over commercial responsibility across the region, stepping into a position previously covered at VP level.
The role
- Lead and scale sales activity across eight markets in Eastern Europe
- Manage and develop a strong existing team of 3–5 Sales Managers plus sales support
- Maintain and expand relationships with major developers, IPPs and OEMs
- Ensure pipeline visibility, sales governance and disciplined contract management
Your profile
- Track record of closing large, complex deals in wind, infrastructure, or energy
- Strong command of commercial terms and negotiation processes
- Experience managing sales teams and mentoring senior professionals
- Familiarity with Eastern European energy markets is ideal but not essential
- Comfortable in a regionally based role with regular travel
