Further expansion and global demand for their market leading renewable energy solutions has seen unprecedented global growth and the requirement to recruit a high-profile BESS Sales Manager.
The Role
Responsibilities
As BESS Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the battery energy storage system (BESS) business development and revenue growth across Australia. As the role will be predominantly working off-site, there is flexibility of your location in Australia in consideration of this position.
Further duties and responsibilities include:
- Able to independently develop new customers, grow BESS sales pipeline and mange key account customers relationships.
- Be part of a slim, agile, fast-growing team and company.
- Develop BESS service business strategy and grow BESS service business pipeline.
- Partner with and lead internal function teams to close deals. Facilitate commercial negotiation with customers.
- Stay on top of latest BESS market and power market development in the region, as well as competitive landscape change.
- Develop mid to long term growth strategy for BESS sales and BESS Service business across Australia.
- There is a fantastic opportunity that could lead to Director level.
The Person
- Preferred 3+ years of Business Development and Sales experience, with minimal 1 years of relevant work experience in energy storage industry.
- Minimum 3 years of bidding project sales experience.
- Excellent technical discussion and commercial contract negotiation skills.
- Rich network and customer resources in Australia.
- Capable of setting-up and leading a global sales team.
- Comfortable of working independently and remotely from HQ teams.
- Able to travel >50% of the time.
- Must have full working rights in Australia - sponsorship is NOT available for this role
