Overview:
Our company, a leading OEM in the renewable energy sector, specializing in cutting-edge wind turbine technology, is seeking an experienced and driven Head of European Sales. This pivotal role will lead European sales strategy, driving growth and expanding our market presence.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the renewable energy industry, ideally in wind energy, with a strong network across key European markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy for Europe, aligned with the company’s overall growth objectives and market expansion goals.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utility companies, project developers, investors, and government agencies.
Market Analysis and Positioning: Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in the European wind energy market.
Team Development and Leadership: Build, develop, and manage a regional sales team, fostering a high-performance culture through mentoring, goal-setting, and continuous training.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, marketing, and project management teams to ensure the delivery of customized and competitive solutions to clients.
Experience Requirements:
10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the renewable energy sector, preferably in wind energy or related industries (e.g., power generation, energy storage, or grid technology).
Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, ideally with experience working with OEMs and large infrastructure projects.
In-depth knowledge of European energy markets and regulatory landscapes.
