As part of ongoing investment into focus markets and the need to drive development & construction of existing secured pipeline, whilst originating fresh multi-gigawatt opportunities.The RoleAs Senior Development Manager, you will be responsible for support leading the group’s greenfield project development, activities of utility scale onshore Wind, Solar PV and Storage projects. Some duties will include:
Be the driving force behind origination & acquisition of a huge pipeline.
Oversee the development of authorised/ready to build projects.
Lead & establish JV relationships / partnerships with landowners, project developers, financial institutions and also municipals across the region.
Solve problems and find inventive ways to ensure success of projects.
Take a leading role in technical and commercial negotiations.
The PersonThe successful candidate will likely have:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Law
Minimum 3 years of experience in renewable energy development: origination, interconnection, land acquisition, landowner lease negotiations, public / private land research, due diligence, permitting, interconnection, etc.
Strong working experience with utility scale renewable projects
A strong network of Developers, EPCs, OEMs, and Financial Institutions
