Offshore WTG Commissioning Manager (SOV) - Major Offshore Wind Project - OEM Side - Hartlepool, England, United Kingdom - £Excellent Hourly Rate - 6 Month Contract - Immediate Start - Outside IR35 - 2 & 2 Rotation (12 Hour Days)An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Offshore WTG Commissioning Manager to join a major offshore wind project on the OEM side, supporting turbine commissioning activities from an SOV.The role sits within a large, multi-phase offshore wind programme and will play a critical part in supervising and coordinating all offshore commissioning activities within the SOV scope, reporting directly into the Commissioning Project Manager.Responsibilities:Overall supervision of offshore WTG commissioning activities within SOV scopeMaintain and support the commissioning strategy, plan, and schedulePrepare daily status reports for commissioning management and stakeholdersCoordinate with installation, marine, and associated works contractors, particularly during energisation and transition from installation to commissioningDirect leadership and supervision of all offshore commissioning teamsSupport energisation, test runs, TOC updates, and documentationEnsure effective handover between rotationsManage quality priorities onboard and support quality inspectorsMaintain a strong EHS culture, including toolbox talks and offshore briefingsManage cabin planning, onboard inductions, startup briefs, and offboarding meetingsSupport marine operations, ERP, safety procedures, and customer updatesMaintain 3-day and 7-day look-ahead planningRequirements:Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)Strong electrical commissioning background, including HV systemsProven offshore WTG commissioning experienceElectrical project management experienceExperience working offshore from SOVsExcellent leadership and people management capability offshoreStrong QHSE awarenessComfortable working with procedures, schematics, and as-built drawingsCompetent with commissioning documentation, test plans, and checklistsProficient in Microsoft Office toolsInterested?
